NCJWA Vic presents

THE MINA FINK LECTURE 2019
PRESENTED BY DR. MARGARET TAFT
OF MONASH UNIVERSITY

Introduction by Rebecca Davis of
The Australian Jewish News

Thursday 13 June, 2019
7.15 PM for 7.30 PM start

The Eva Besen Centre
131–133 Hawthorn Rd
Caulfield Junction, 3161

Mina Fink, immigrant and feminist (before feminism became mainstream), rose to leadership positions in three major Jewish organisations imparting a distinctive leadership culture that still shapes and defines those organisations today. In retelling Mina’s story Dr Margaret Taft will shine a light on a history that has remained largely in the shadows, illuminating the role women play and the importance of feminist action.
