The Jam Project

The Jam Project is a program for Year 9 girls. It’s an opportunity to build your confidence, self-esteem and leadership skills. So, if you’re interested in discovering more about yourself, exploring relationships and finding inspiration, please get in touch. 

Fortnightly mentor catch-ups

When you join The Jam Project, we’ll pair you with a mentor – a female in her 20s who will be there to support and guide you throughout the year. 

You’ll meet with her fortnightly to discuss any issues you’re facing or emotions you’re feeling. Connecting with someone who’s walked in your shoes not so long ago – and not in your inner circle – can:

Monthly Jam Sessions

Throughout the year, you’ll attend monthly events and presentations from inspiring guest speakers. For example, in 2022 we heard from Ally Watson OAM, founder and CEO of 'Code Like a Girl' - encouraging more female developers in the industry.

Held every October, our Information Night is for Year 8 girls and their parents to learn more about The Jam Project.  
We also hold JamFest towards the end of each year – a vibrant afternoon event open to everyone. Come along to meet others who have been involved in the program and listen to a guest speaker.
