Seniors, Golden Age and Bridge Clubs
These programs support seniors who come together to socialise, share a meal and maintain their independence in the community.
If you like being creative in the kitchen and working with a team of enthusiastic women then this position is for you.
If you just wish to give a few hours to help with either setting or cleaning up then we need your help too.
If you love baking cakes and making savoury food such as quiches, tarts etc we would welcome your baking skills.
Fundraising plays a major role in creating the necessary funds for our programs and activities. If you have a flair or the skills for event management and enjoy working in a team environment, then we would love to hear from you.
Events include talks, outings, luncheons, movie nights and dinners.
Office and Accounts
If you have computer skills and solid administrative skills and are a good communicator, then you will enjoy supporting our office and accounts department in administrative duties.
The Caring Mums program provides emotional support to pregnant women and new mothers. It is a free program available to women from all cultural, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.
If you are a mother or grandmother, have compassion for other mums and a few hours to spare each week, you may have what it takes to be a Caring Mum. You will need to attend initial training sessions and ongoing supervision. Police checks are a requisite of this program. You can register your interest with the Caring Mums team: Call Caring Mums at 9044 5405.
