Video and audio testimonies were collected from members of our Golden Age Club. They related their personal stories of service in the former Soviet Union’s armed forces during WW2 as a means of informing younger generations of the service and sacrifices made in defeating the Nazis on the eastern front.
This project was funded by the Department of Premier and Cabinet under the Anzac Centenary/Victoria Remembers Grants Scheme. The memories of all the participants are incredibly moving and being acknowledged after all this time made a big impact on all of them.
We recommend that you spend some time listening to these stories.
