Melbourne foodie and former Masterchef contestant Alice In Frames returns to the Nosh Tent for the second year running, but after satisfying her sweet tooth with the Caring Mums Cheesecake Bake, this year Alice will set out to find Melbourne's best homemade hummus!

The competition is open to anyone in the community.

Terms and Conditions for In One Voice Caring Mums Hummus competition 

Sunday 19 March, Nosh Tent.

  1. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of entry requirements and the full terms and conditions. 

  2. Entry is open to Australian residents. 

  3. One entry per competitor. 

  4. Employees and immediate family members of IOV, NCJWA (Vic) Caring Mums are not eligible to enter the competition. 

  5. Deadline for on-line registration at  http://www.ncjwavic.org.au/event-2317024 and payment of $15 entrants fee is EOB .(5pm)Thursday 16 March.  

  6. It is the entrants' responsibility to accurately label their entry. Entrants must supply their name, mobile no. and complete ingredient list attached to their hummus container 

  7. For Occupational Health and Safety reasons, entries with inadequate ingredient labelling will be disqualified. 

  8. Only home-made hummus will be considered for judging.  

  9. Food safety regulations must be adhered to in the making and supply of competition entries. https://www.foodsafety.com.au/resources/videos  

  10. Disqualified entries will not receive a refund of their $15 registration fee. 

  11. Judging will be based on authentic taste, balance of flavour and distinguishing finishes, such as hummus toppers. 

  12. Commercial enterprise entries will not be considered and the organisers reserve the right to disqualify entries that are not authentic or those that have not been made by home cooks. 

  13. Hummus must be supplied in disposable containers and should be no larger than 1lt capacity. It is recommended you use GENFEC plastic lidded containers or an equivalent. 

  14. Entrants must personally deliver their named Hummus entries to a Caring Mums or IOV representative at the Nosh tent site from 12.45 - 1.30pm on Sunday 19 March. As there is limited storage and no refrigeration at the Nosh Tent, early or late entries will not be accepted. 

  15. All remaining hummus will be ‘auctioned off’ to the audience as a Caring Mums fundraiser after the winner is announced and at completion of the event. 

  16. The winning announcement is final and at the discretion of the judge and committee. No discussion will be entered into. 

  17. Entrants must agree to participating in IOV and Caring Mums post-announcement publicity, including publishing of the winner’s name, photos of the winner and their winning entry for use in print, press, on-line and in social media.
