Rita Satch, Songwriter and Artist
A modern day siren, Rita is fast becoming an unforgettable presence in Australia’s neo-soul movement. She has toured Australia and the world, some of her notable performances include Glastonbury Festival (UK), Cheltenham Jazz Festival (UK), St Kilda Festival, Melbourne International Jazz Festival & Kensington Palace.
Rita frequently collaborates with some of Australia's leading musicians, including Barney McAll (Sia, Gary Bartz, Daniel Merriweather), who featured her on his releases "Sweet Water" & "An Extra Celestial Christmas”. In 2022 Rita will be going on a national tour with Melbourne’s funk group The Bamboos and will be releasing brand new music.
In a year where the musicians have been silenced, we are so fortunate to have Rita join us as we discuss Dreams Can Come True. Rita's words will be a wonderful footnote to the year we have shared on the program in 2021 and a wonderful way to introduce the cohort of 2022. We are thrilled to announce that Rita will also be performing for us.
Current Buddies and Participants will join us and tell us about their experience of The Jam Project in 2021. They will share their highlights of the year.
