The JAM Project exists because no girl finds her voice alone. Through trusted mentoring, girls build a strong sense of self, while mentors lead with purpose, together strengthening our community. JAM: Confidence Starts with Connection.
Join a powerful 12-session mentoring program where young women in their twenties (Mentors) support Year 8 girls (Mentees) to build confidence, explore their identity and develop meaningful connections. Led by expert facilitators, this program is a chance to inspire, be inspired, and make a lasting impact. Mentors gain valuable leadership, communication, and mentoring skills while deepening their self-awareness, confidence, and sense of purpose. Together, participants create a supportive community where both girls and young women can learn, grow, and thrive.
The JAM Project is for Jewish girls entering Year 8 in 2027 and young Jewish adult women in their twenties.
In addition to Jewish girls entering Year 8 in 2027, we are looking for inspiring young Jewish women in their twenties who want to make a meaningful impact while developing their own leadership skills. Whether you’re studying, recently graduated or beginning your career in health, counselling, social work, psychology or corporate, if you are ready to lead, connect and make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
The program runs across 11 Sunday afternoons from May to September 2027 and 1 finale Sunday evening session in September. Mentors will be expected to attend additional sessions prior to the commencement of the facilitated sessions for professional training. Throughout the program mentors will have additional opportunities for development and reflection.
The program fee is $250 per Mentee, payable within 7 days of acceptance of a program place. This fee has been generously subsidised thanks to our funding partners.
Year 8 girls will learn practical skills whilst exploring identity, community, friendships and their place in the Jewish world. Mentors will grow their leadership, listening and coaching skills. Together, both will experience the power of meaningful connection and the confidence that comes from supporting and inspiring one another.
For this type of program, a small cohort is essential because trust, openness and genuine connection are what make mentoring meaningful. Keeping numbers limited ensures each girl and mentor has space to be heard, build confidence, and form strong relationships in a safe, supportive environment. Places are intentionally limited and expected to fill quickly, so sign up now to register your interest.
Applications for the 2027 program close 8th December 2026. Register your interest now.
